OPHTHALMOLOGY

The ophthalmic section of our hospital is well equipped, suitable for comprehensive Eye Care as well as specialised treatment, if required.

As a matter of fact the variety of facilities for Eye Care available in our hospital under one roof is not available anywhere else in the city. We also have Optometry facility with two Optometrists in the section.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Keratoplasty, Cataract and IOL implant surgery , Phacoemulsification and small incision cataract surgery.

Complicated vitrectomies and complicated Retinal Detachment, Squint, Glaucoma, Orbitotomies, Ophthalmoplastic surgeries, Endoscopic Dacryocysto Rhinostomy, Emergency surgeries for occular injuries.

Some of the important equipment available are Argon laser, Nd - YAG laser, Humphrey field analyzer, Fundus camera for Fundus fluorescein angiography, 'A' scan biometer, Applanation tonometer, Keratometer, Autorepectometer, Vitrectomy Phacoemulsifier, Operating microscope, Auto lensometer, Frequency Doubling Perimeter, Anterior Segment Photography.
